Sophie and Shari were matched near the end of Sophie’s freshman year. Sophie is a bright student with big goals and dreams! She is about to finish her sophomore year and has persevered through all the obstacles learning in a global pandemic using only virtual means poses.
When Sophie and Shari first met Sophie admits she was a little shy but Shari’s previous experience as a Big Sister and compassionate nature helped their relationship flourish. Shari and Sophie recognize a mentoring relationship is a 2-way street and they both enjoy learning and teaching each other new things!
They are currently working on several different goals together including staying active and healthy during the quarantine as well as staying on track in school. Shari and Sophie both encourage and support each other as they are building and growing their bond
