Agency Openings: 

FT Enrollment Specialist - ~ Bilingual preferred ~ BA req'd  - degree in social services, sociology, psychology or related field is preferred; Must pass a federal background check, have valid New Mexico DL and insurance coverage; Experience with the intake and interview process (for adults and child/family), written assessments, the understanding of child development and family dynamics, and awareness of child safety preferred.  $28K (+$1K if bilingual [Spanish/English])  ADA/EOE  

FT Customer Relations Specialist - ~ Bilingual preferred ~ HS diploma/GED with 2 years prior sales with customer service experience or BA with marketing, sales or communication experience req'd; Must pass a federal background check, have valid New Mexico DL and insurance coverage; this position ensures that all volunteers receive an engaging, positive and personalized sales phone response promoting BBBS programs. $11-11.50/hr ( plus 0.50/hr if bilingual (Spanish/English)  ADA/EOE 

P/T PROGRAM SPECIALIST FOR OTERO COUNTY  - (25-28/hrs per week, Monday-Friday 5-6/hrs per day) Must live in or around Alamogordo BA required; BA in Social Services, Psychology, Sociology or related field preferred. Experience in intake/interview and relationship development with child and adult population; understanding of child development and family dynamics. $13.46/hr ( plus 0.50/hr if bilingual (Spanish/English) ADA/EOE

F/T MENTOR 2.0 SUPPORT SPECIALIST(Educational Liaison) 

BA required; BA in Social Services, Psychology, Sociology or related field preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Experience working with teens/families/adults; interviewing and assessing; and relationship development experience required. Classroom experience(esp. with high school-aged students), and the understanding of child development and family dynamics is preferred.  Enroll youth(mentees) including oversight of the application, screening and matching process. Facilitate high impact relationship between Mentor 2.0 pairs, including; enrollment; monitoring participation; provide individual attention; proactively assist relationships through regular communication, support & advice; and identify pairs who need additional support and implement strategies to improve relationships. Lead weekly Mentor 2.0 class for mentees at participating schools, including a discussion of weekly curriculum. Lead orientations and training for teachers and mentees. Breakdown of positioni; approx 30% classroom instruction(curriculum-based); 10% administrative/event planning; and 60% monitoring & relationship development between teens and adult mentors.
