Dear Valued Donors, Volunteers, and Stakeholders,
We write to share important information about new steps we are taking to meet the challenges brought on by Covid-19 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico staff and our Albuquerque office location. In the current climate, the health and well-being of our entire community — including each of you — is at the forefront of our thinking.
To ensure the safety of our full community, BBBS-CNM quickly moved to promote and enable social distancing while we have continued to expand our services and make new mentor-mentee matches. These decisions were designed to make BBBS-CNM safer for everyone — and today we announce several important new steps. The goal is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our community while allowing essential mission to continue.
Until we communicate otherwise, all BBBS-CNM employees will work from home. In addition, we will be moving out of our offices at 2500 Louisiana by the end of November 2020. We do not anticipate moving into a new office location or employees to work in-office until July 2021. Our office phone number remains the same: 505-837-9223. Our staff will retain their cell phones and their current email addresses. You can search our website at www.bbbs-cnm.org for updated contact information. Until further notice, all incoming physical mail needs to be sent to:
PO Box 30515 Albuquerque, NM 87190
We are enormously grateful for the dedication, high standards, and caring from everyone who works, volunteers, or invests in BBBS-CNM. Each of you is essential to BBBS-CNM’s mission — and never more so than in this intense and difficult time. We are committed to doing everything we can to help keep our employees and stakeholders safe and we will continue to defend the potential of our youth.
